The owners of this relatively small family bathroom in West Wales had been contemplating how to refresh their monochromatic space while maintaining adequate storage. Their request was to design a highly functional area that should feel warm and inviting with a contemporary finish.

Herringbone grey oak vinyl click flooring immediately adds a soft pattern and detail, whilst walls painted in Farrow & Ball's Scallop introduces a sense of warmth and comfort. A fluted dark oak vanity unit with extra deep drawers for storage provides a sharper element along with slick matte black taps, backlit mirror, towel rail and shower, which provide a smart contemporary 'look' when set against the white marble metro tiles and soft pink walls.
